Good day and welcome to my Agile Moose’s thoughts and ideas on how ORSC + Agile might be the next Peanut Butter and Jelly (or Jam if you prefer) combination.

ORSC™ stands for Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching and is copyrighted by CRR Global.

Inspiration

This website (guidance, content, suggestions, ideas, and reactions) are part of my ORSC Certification World Work project. While that was the driving force, I’m incredibly excited to—

  1. Be pulling these ideas together;

  2. Hopeful that you’ll find them useful in your Agile coaching journey…

One of my inspirations was this blog post by Zuzana (Zuzi) Sochovaon the CRR Global website entitled - THE SYNERGIES BETWEEN ORSC™ COACHING AND AGILE COACHING.

Finally, it’s a Work-in-Progress and as-such, it will change and evolve quite quickly. If you have any feedback for me, please send it.

Purpose

This purpose of this website is to share ORSC coaching techniques in agile contexts.

It will not

  • Share the intellectual property of CRR Global or ORSC content.

  • Replace the CRR Global ORSC training and/or certification curriculum.

  •  Attempt to serve as an oracle for ORSC skills.

It will

  • Share ORSC learnings, language, patterns, and the mindset that I’ve learned.

  • Share how to map ORSC concepts & tools in agile contexts.

  • Share my own epiphanies and key learnings that my ORSC journey has inspired.

Why?

I’ve been engaged in agile coaching for over 20 years. In late 2019, I decided to take the ORSC 5-class training series. I completed that in early 2020 and then embarked on gaining certification by participating in a 10-month cohort (Willow).

As I progressed through the ORSC program, I realized that there are many useful connections between it’s approaches and agile coaching. My newfound learnings began to make me a better agile coach. Which then led to greater impact on the organizations, teams, and groups that I’ve always been coaching.

But there’s also a challenge in “figuring out” what ORSC tools, techniques, and approaches work in agile contexts and which ones don’t. And of those that map well, I can see that how to map them is also a challenge.

Therefore, I’ve decided to share this content/blog/experience report openly to anyone in the agile community who might be interested in applying ORSC patterns for the betterment of your colleagues and clients.

Volunteers & Help

I’d love for this website/portal to become a “go to” place for sharing Agile+ORSC experiences. To that end, I’m looking for content around your experiences and stories to share.

If you want to help by providing content or in any other way, please send me a note - bob@rgalen.com
